I'm super excited to share the story of my recent opportunity to work with the talented indie-rock band, Malcom. It's always thrilling when an up-and-coming group reaches out and asks for a photoshoot, as it allows you to capture their energy and artistry in a visual medium.

Malcom has been making quite a name for themselves in the local music scene in Manchester. Their success with the release of three singles on Spotify, particularly the tracks that have been reaping significant attention like "Subconscious" and "C'est La Vie," is a testament to their musical prowess and the connection they've been able to forge with their audience. The fact that they've been invited to perform live on the BBC is also a remarkable achievement, as it showcases the recognition and momentum they've been building. This kind of exposure can be a game-changer for an indie-rock band, helping them reach a wider audience and potentially open new doors for their musical journey.

As a freelance photographer, I feel honoured to have had the opportunity to not only document a glimpse of their current success, with a promotional photoshoot and capturing them whilst performing live at the Deaf Institute, but also to help elevate their visual branding and identity. As most bands would testify, a professional photoshoot can be a powerful tool to capture the essence of their sound, their stage presence, and the dynamic energy they bring to their live performances.
